How to turn off iOS7 frequent location tracking and increase your privacy

For some people privacy is a serious thing they would want to keep especially when it comes to their location. However with the new upgraded and up to date iOS7, your location will be tracked pretty much wherever you go in order to provide a better location-based data for some of your apps as in the weather and Google maps. Apple’s iOS7 now pays more attention to our locations than previous versions of iOS, and that’s caused something of a stir among the masses. So, if you value your privacy more than you do location-based data, you can turn the feature off.

You don’t have to worry about that as you can simple turn that option off. Simply launch settings from your home screen and then tap on Privacy. In here, you’ll want to head over to Location Services and then System Services right at the bottom. Again, towards the bottom of the next page, tap on Frequent Locations. Now toggle the Frequent Location and turn it to the off position at the top of the next screen.

That’s pretty much it! As from now your location will no longer be tracked unless you turn that option back on. You’ve got your privacy back a long with another benefit as turning off this will also conserve your battery.
