So you’ve just bought your brand new iPhone and want to restore all your data from your iCloud backup and bring all the stuff down without fussing with iTunes or re-downloading things, you can do that in few steps only.
After turning on your new iPhone and follow the setup steps we explained earlier in our articles, In the Setup Assistant, once you reach “Setup your device”, then just tap “Restore from a Backup” and sign into your iCloud account. Make sure you choose your last that you wish to restore to your iPhone and you will be asked to enter any passwords required when prompted.
You will be able to see a progress bar with time remaining as iCloud restores your data. This way will restore all your settings and accounts from the iCloud backup you chose. Now your iPhone will restart and then start downloading all your purchased items from the previous backup with all your data available. You will see a progress bar under apps that are being downloaded. If you need a specific app first and make an app a priority for downloading, tap its icon to move it ahead in the queue. If you would like to check whether your backup is fully restored or not, just navigate to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup.
That’s all there is to it. Your iPhone will begin restoring from your iCloud backup. Keep in mind that the more data you have, the longer it will take. Just be patient and if you have to jump off of WiFi, no worries, iCloud will pick up right where it left off next time you are connected to WiFi.
