Could it ever look more stylish! Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina is the smaller-screened MacBook ever! Mac has always retained that unique combination of price weight, solidity, and durability and battery life all at the same time.
MacBook has three separate designs; the original model used a combination of polycarbonate and fiberglass casing that was modeled after the iBook G4. The second type, introduced in October 2008 alongside the 15-inch MacBook Pro and was updated and rebranded as the 13-inch MacBook Pro at the 2009 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2009. The third design, introduced in October 2009 MacBook Pro. The new MacBook Air on the market with new microphones, moving from mono to a new dual arrangement that offers noise cancelling.
Apple has unveiled the new MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina with the Mac OS X laptop sporting a completely updated processor which comes with a screen resolution of 2560×1600 making it four times over the previous model. The new MacBook Pro is powered by Intel Dual Core i5 or i7 processors while there’s 8GB of memory and up to 750GB in SSD storage making sure it’ll handle any multi-media content.
What’s really great about this new MacBook is its new battery which has been developed and hugely increased from the previous model to 7-hours by using a new battery system. The Pro can stretch itself to around seven and a half hours if I need it to, but even with my incredibly sloppy, multi-app setup with tons of things going on in the background and about a thousand Chrome tabs open, it seems to average around five.
In terms of size the 13-inch MacBook Retina Display is super thin at just 0.75-inches which makes it 20 per cent lighter than the original MacBook, while it is still bag-friendly weighing in at just 3.5ibs. It slides easily into any bag, takes up an amount of desk space that’s better for your peripherals and for those seated around you, and yet can still provide you with one of the best screens in the business.
“We wanted a screen as vivid as your imagination. A screen where everything you see is vibrant, detailed, and sharp. With the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, we created the world’s highest-resolution notebook. And the view on the supercompact 13-inch model is just as impressive.” As mentioned on Apple official website.
It’ll cost more than the previous model but there’s no news on the UK pricing however in the US the Retina Display model will cost $500 more than the non-Retina Display version.
